LUCAS ROGER
VISUAL ARTIST
Lucas Roger has 19 years old and nowadays studies Theory, Criticism and Art History at University of Brasilia, Brazil. As an artist, Lucas Roger develops a poetic that makes a dialogue with performance art, photography, installation art and visual narratives as a spectrum. He is part of a researh group called "Utopias, narratives and fictions on Contemporary Art" and also integrates the performative group called Algodão Choque (Cotton Schock).
Lucas was part of exhibitions in Spain, France, Italy, Germany and Brazil (Brasilia, São Paulo, Pará, Goiânia and Rio de Janeiro); his artworks has a relation with narratives and superfictions, exploring themes such as identity and the relation between art and societies.
